GlobalAustin welcomes 18 visitors from around the  globe for a program focusing on Advancing an Open, and Secure Digital Economy. 

While in Austin this delegation will meet with information and communications technology sector stakeholders, in both the public and private sectors, to discuss their perspectives on the current state of the digital economy.  Discussions will include efforts to advance an open internet, while maintaining cybersecurity and tools for combating cybercrime They will discuss how state laws and regulations affect the digital economy.  They will have an opportunity to examine gaps in analysis and to develop country specific action plans to target cybersecurity sector.
